I produce small quantities of wines with distinctive personality from vineyard sources that have, over time, exhibited captivating character and concentration. The Napa Valley displays its range and diversity through the wines I produce—from the mountainous Brandlin Vineyard at 1200 feet, to the cool Carneros lowlands of the Stewart Ranch. Each of my wines consistently announces its terroir. I make all of them in a hands-on method that involves minimal intervention in lieu of heavy processing and manipulation. A one-man operation, I am dedicated to personally guiding my wines through each step in the winemaking process.
