The family Kamper of Gumpoldskirchen started their wine growing back in the year 1692.In the vineyard the wine grower emphasises on quality work. The sorts of wine include dry, soft and sweet specialitis. The six hectars of vineyards owned by Christian Kamper consist os stony and sparing, but occasionally heavy, loam soils. The main varieties are the Rotgipfler and Zierfandler, all low in
acidity.A fifth of the vineyards is cultivated with red varieties Red Portugieser and Austrian Zweigelt.
