In the 1870's Henry & Lydia Douglas, John Sprigg's great, great grandparents, planted 58 acres of grape vines in Happy Vally, South Australia. John & Katie Sprigg have spent 32 years as a partnership in Agriculture, the last 9 of which have been spent establishing a vineyard at Cranbrook in Western Australia. 'Trevelen Farm' is 300kms south of Perth and 100kms north of Albany (on the south coast), the most northerly vineyard in the Great Southern Wine Region.5 Star rated by James Halliday 2007.
