Hamelin Bay is a producer of premium wines of stature, quality and longevity from one of Margaret River's best vineyard sites in one of Australia's best wine regions.
Hamelin Bay's Five Ashes vineyard is situated in the cool sougherly region of Margaret River, at Karridale.
The 25 hectare vineyare overlooks a picturesque valley. It has well drained gravelly loams and yields are low at around 3 to 4 tonnes per acre.
The vineyard is owned by the Drake-Brockman family whose association with the area dates back to first settlement of Augusta by the Bussells in 1831.
Bay wine styles include:
Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rampant White, Cabernet, Cabernet Merlot, Shiraz and Rampant Red.
