First established in 1854, James Eadie Ltd is an independent Scotch whisky blender and bottler. Relaunched in 2016 by the founder's great great grandson, it is fast-building a reputation at home and abroad for supplying top-quality specialist whiskies.
Led by 25-year industry veteran Rupert Patrick, the company is a member of the Scotch Whisky Association, whose role is to advance the global interests and profile of Scotch whisky – a £4bn per year industry which accounts for 25% of all UK food-and-drink exports.
James Eadie's selection of aged single malt whiskies are now distributed in eight export markets including France, Germany and Japan. Its Caol Ila was voted the most popular Islay whisky of the 2017 Edinburgh Whisky Fringe festival. Its new revival of the original James Eadie's Trade Mark 'X' blended Scotch recently won a Gold Medal in the 2018 World Whisky Awards.
