We are a family run business, based in north-west Victoria approximately 400km north of Melbourne. with a real Mediterranean climate (long hot summers with cool winters and a low rainfall). The vineyard was first purchased by Jim Peace in 1980, Andrew then went to Roseworthy and did his degree, after working in different places in South Australia,he then decided to come home and build the winery. From small beginnings in 1995 where we crushed 3000 tonnes to the 30,000 tonnes we have just crushed in the 2017 vintage is a huge growth and we are in the top 20 wineries for production in the whole of Australia. We have purchased another vineyard and now have over 1000ha under vine with another 1000ha of summer and winter crops which is managed by Andrew's eldest son, Calum. We work with 60 contract growers to ensure we have a solid base of quality fruit each year. We also buy fruit from South Australia (vineyards that Andrew has worked at previously) and process Barossa and so on.
