The estate is situated in the northern part of Baden named Kraichgau, 30 min. south of Heidelberg. The viticulture is carried out on the hills surrounding the estate, with a total vineyard area of 28 hectars. There we cultivate mainly Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Lemberger.
The estate's philosophy is to produce high-quality wines by allowing nature to pave the way. Our aim is to make characteristic and unique wines to illustrate the depth and complexity that wines produced by Heitlinger can reach.
As a member of the Slow Food, the entire production is based on n ecological point of view. Using the best cellar technology available our wines are carefully processed to retain the high quality fruit and flavour characters growing in the vineyard.
The whole estate and our way of working has been adjusted consequently to production in the 225 litres barriques.
