Drawing on vines growing at an altitude of 450 meters (1.476 ft), the Caparsa Wine Estate produces Chianti Classico „Doccio a Matteo“ Riserva from Sangiovese grapes carefully selected in the vineyards of the same name and matured in barriques and Chianti Classico “Caparsino” Riserva and Normal, a traditional wine of the zone matured in casks and barrels. The wines are not filtered and the estate’s production philosophy emphasizes special respect for the environment and the use of products represented to the owners as part of the “independent organic method”.
