The Cellar is situated in the town of Murça and the social area is limited to the parishes of Murça, Noura (Sobredo) and Candedo (Martin, Monfebres, Porras and Sobreira). Grape growing is the mainstay of the local economy, extending the vineyards area of approximately 1,500 hectare.
