Kanu is an exciting range of wines developed on the historic farm, Goedgeloof (in the prime ‘Stellenbosch Hills’ area of Stellenbosch), by Hydro Holdings, owners of the highly acclaimed Mulderbosch Vineyards. The name Kanu is derived from a veteran farm hand on Goedgeloof, who told of the legend of a mythical 'bird of promise'. The story tells that when the bird appeared, all those who fell under its shadow would be blessed with a bountiful harvest. Together with Cellarmaster Teddy Hall's skills, Kanu wines celebrate this legend. The Kanu range offers exceptional quality and unusual, innovative packaging. Of specific interest to discerning wine lovers are the wines produced under the Kanu 'Limited Release' label, to which infinite care, resources and attention to detail were given in their production.
