Our company PROLISAL-EscoBarr is a Salvadoran liquor distillery founded in November 2007. We produce and distribute nation wide the most popular drink in El Salvador El Chaparro. POTRO & PINTO are beverages inherited from our ancestors, made from sugar cane, fermented and distilled in an artisan way to keep the flavor and smell of El Chaparro. The PINTO presentation is then aged with spices that bring out the wonderful flavor & smell of cinnamon for those who appreciate the authentic Salvadoran beverage, and is considered essential for the therapeutic benefits on the digestive and circulatory systems. In answer to the clamor of the more than 2 million Salvadorans living in the United States & half a million in Canada we made the decision to increase our production to more than 30,000 bottles per month in order to export to the main cities in North America for the benefit of all Salvadorans living there.
