Over the years, the grapes of VIÑA 1924 have been used in some of the most outstanding and exclusive wines, after nearly 100 harvests VIÑA 1924 DE ANGELES WINERY establishes in 2007 to show in its product the characteristics and the particular expressions of this old, original and traditional malbec vineyard from VISTALBA, the VIÑA 1924 TERROIR combined in a very exclusive and pleasant malbec wine, with intense and distinguished fruity varietal expressions, typical of the grapes from this vineyard. The International Contest Malbec al Mundo 2008 awarded its first vintage with a Gold Medal for its GRAN MALBEC DE ANGELES 2007 (3.000 bottles). Located in VISTALBA inside the old malbec vineyard implanted in 1924, it is grown on low espaliers (low vines). The vines are managed to preserve tradition and resources which characterize the unique and genuine personality of this vineyard and its terroir.
