Nowadays, the Freixenet Group includes several production centres based in the most well-known, prestigious wine-making areas to produce quality sparkling wines in the traditional method.
The Group is carrying out a global strategy and has its own commercial platforms with the aim of covering different geographical areas around the world. Freixenet Group includes many wine producing firms. These are: Freixenet (the Mother House) Segura Viudas, Castellblanch, Conde de Caralt and Canals & Nubiola, all greatly strengthened by the quality of their products. In addition, still wines are produced in the winery René Barbier, another reputable name in Spanish wine-making, Valdubón in Ribera de Duero, Morlanda in Priorat and Vionta in Rías Baixas.
Parallel to this expansion in its area of origin, the company has planted vines and built Freixenet Sonoma Caves, in California (USA) and in Querétaro (Mexico), where the sparkling wine Sala Vivé can be found.
