Situated at the foot of Montmirail, in the heart of the small village of Vacqueyras, in the shade of the old bell-tower, the Arnoux family is a true institution. Here, in 1717, the ‘Comte (Count) de Lauris’ donated a plot of land to one of the family’s ancestors. Following suit, generations of Arnoux’ extended the ‘domaine’ and perpetuated the tradition of the vine and the wine.
This four-century old heritage is currently represented by Marc and Jean-François Arnoux. Owner-proprietors, they reign over 40 hectares of Vacqueyras vines from which they produce their best wines. Each year, they vinify grapes from neighbouring appellations to produce a selection of Côtes du Rhône wines which enables them to offer a complete range to their customers, private buyers, wine merchants and wholesalers, both in France and also abroad.
