Cuca Fresca stands out among other cachašas because of the historic artisanal cachaša-making methods used to create a product of exceptional quality, distinct from other cachašas already in the American marketplace. Preserving these methods was of utmost importance to Cuca Fresca's owners. Cuca Fresca is double distilled in artisan copper pots instead of using the column distillation process that often compromises quality. Each batch of cachaša is made from organically grown sugarcane that has been harvested from a single source, and each bottle is filled with cachaša from a single batch that has been triple filtered. The Pura Gold is then aged for a minimum of three years. This production method affords Cuca Fresca the ability to closely control every step of the cachaša-making process and continue to deliver a consistently premium product.
