Founded by Don Amado Paredes in 1979, this winery makes estate wines, from grapes hand harvested in its own vineyards. Both, the winery and the vineyards lie in Rengo at the foot of the Andes Mountains in Chile, in the upper reaches of the Cachapoal Valley ( Rapel Region), benefiting from cooling air currents which flow down the valley from the majestic Andes, as well as rocky and alluvial hillside soils. Torreón de Paredes has demonstrated a commitment to the environment and to maintaining the unique Rengo terroir for which they are famous.
