Mionetto Valdobbiadene has been Italy's foremost producer of prosecco wines for more than 100 years. On the steep hillsides of Valdobbiadene, the delicate prosecco grape found its ideal soil and climate conditions. Mionetto Valdobbiadene produces still, frizzante (lightly sparkling), spumante (fully sparkling), and Cartizze Proseccos. The Cartizze is Mionetto's highest-quality Prosecco Spumante made from grapes cultivated in a unique microclimate within Valdobbiadene. Production is limited to one million bottles annually. Mionetto's Prosecco Frizzante is bottled using a traditional string-tied cork or spago, an age-old custom practiced for generations in the Veneto Although best known for Prosecco, Mionetto also produces superb Chardonnay, Merlot, Raso ChiaroTM (Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes), and Raso ScuroTM (Cabernet and Teroldego grapes). The Mionetto wine portfolio also includes Pinot Grigio, Cabernet, Moscato, and Marzemino, as well as Grappa.
