Damilano is one of the historical Barolo-producing winery (over 100 yrs old) - specialising in classic Langhe reds such as Barolo, Dolcetto d’Alba, and Barbera d’Alba.
The wines have received many accolades and prizes (92 WS points for Barolo 2001, 60th place in the WS Top World 100 wines, 3 Gambero Rosso glasses, etc), thanks to the strictness and passion of the Damilano family (Guido and Margherita, working alongside with their cousins Paolo and Mario) and to the expertise of their enologist Beppe Caviola and agronomist Gian Piero Romana.
The vineyards are situated in the most famous crus of the Langhe (Cannubi, Liste, and Brunate) which are almost entirely cultivated with Nebbiolo da Barolo, and to a lesser extent, with Dolcetto and Barbera varietals.
