Domaine Denis Gayte was founded in 1999 and features its vineyards in the famed Cotes du Rhone village of Domazan. The vineyards consist of both Cotes du Rhone and Cotes du Rhone Villages terriors planted with Rhone varietals such as Grenach Noir, Syrah and Mourvedre. The sandy, clay soil are covered with big red rocks providing wines that have great strength and flavor. Denis Gayte, originally from Seattle, Washington, has taken over this vineyard that has been in his family for generations.
