Ypióca is the largest estate-producer of cachaça (sugar cane distilled) in Brazil, with production capacity of 126 million liter/year. Its range of products includes aged cachaças, ready-made cocktails, and wine specialty. Cachaça is Brazil''s national drink, consumed pure or in cocktails. Presently in the 5th generation, Ypioca is the only large distiller with 100% of its bottled cachaça originated from its own estates. It is responsible for all stages of the production: from the selection of the sugar cane seeds to the aging and bottling. All versions of Cachaça Ypioca are aged from 1 to 6 years in wood barrels and submitted to a strict quality control during the production process. Ypióca Group comprises 7 companies embracing industries of alcoholic beverages, mineral water, cardboard, and plastic bottles. Ypióca generates more than 20,000 employments direct and indirectly. Over 5,000 artisans employ their talent on the refined work with straw wrapping Ypióca Ouro & Prata bottles.
