Castello di Meleto is one of the most important and historical wineries from the Chianti Classico region. The property extends over 1000 hectares. The vineyards alone cover 180 hectares; 20 hectares are olive groves. About 80 % of the vineyards is composed of selected clones of Sangiovese. The production includes Chianti Classico,Chianti Classico Riserva and two supertuscans Fiore and Rainero. The wine produced by Castello di Meleto are shipped to all the most important international markets.
