Our Company started in 1929,most recently we have increased our grape growing capacity and have married tradition, experience and new agricultural and oenological technologies. This grape has been combined with other grape varieties, already present on the estate, and it has only been in recent years that the company has started their wine production.Our greatest wine is NERO :An ancient native grape (200 B.C. – 400 A.D.) which has survived to this day since the time of the Roman Empire. This type of vitis vinifera was first introduced to Romagna by the Etruscans, and later by the Roman legions, only to be abandoned in the pine forests around Ravenna at the fall of the Roman Empire. Now, in its natural setting, it produces one of the world’s oldest wines.Its genetic code reveals resemblance to no other existing grape.Aged for 12 months in barrels, for a further 24 months in casks
