The estate GSELLMANN & GSELLMANN is situated in the heart of Europe – Austria/Burgenland, near the Nationalpark lake Neusiedler See.
It is managed as an extended family company by the brothers Hans and Matthias.
The enormous surface of Lake Neusiedl has a considerable influence on the wine production in this region.
The vines grow in rich sandy soils. The Pannonian climate (hot summers and cold winters) is also a necessary condition for producing fruity, dry, well-balanced wines as well as full-bodied Prädikatwines of exquisite quality with varying levels of sweetness.
The winery has always pursued a clear product line: The whites are dominated by Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc as well as white Pannobile.
The red wine spectrum comprises Zweigelt Heideboden, Cuvée Old Vinyards as well as Pinot Noir, Pannobile and Ungerberg.
Depending on the vintage, the range of products is supplemented with noble sweet wines from Spätlese to Trockenbeerenauslese.
