The land on which the property stands has been in the family since the XVIth century. As per today, this 15 hectares vineyard belongs to 2 prestigious appellations:Saint-Emilion (9Ha)and Côtes de Castillon (5.5Ha). Jean de Monteil took over the Family estate in 1972, after he passed his higher degrees in viticulture and oenology. As an enthusiastic and passionate professional, he committed himself to the search of quality. The exceptional geographical situation gave birth to 3 very fine wines from top-quality terroirs: - Château Haut-Rocher Saint-Emilion grand cru - Pavillon du Haut-Rocher Saint-Emilion - Château Bréhat Côtes de Castillon
