The Ramirez de la Piscina family has long been closely associated with the region of La Sonsierra, located at the very heart of Rioja Alta. The Chalky-clay soils, the influence of the Atlantic microclimate and a southerly orientation make the Sonsierra Lands a priviliged setting from growers of La Sonsierra. At the bodega in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, wines are made with grapes from our own vineyards (10 hectares) and other selected grapes from growers of la Sonsierra. The traditional winemaking processes inherited from our our forefathers, together with modern technologies applied to Tempranillo Grapes, result in wines of exceptional quality, which can be enjoyed as both young and aged wines.
