Both the farms at Rovato and Salò have been owned by the Terzi family for about two hundred years; today they are managed by Count Giuliano Terzi and his mother Countess Maria Antonietta Terzi. The farm in Rovato is 46 hectares and lies in the pleasant hilly countryside in the communities of Rovato and Erbusco.The vineyards cover 11.5 hectares and the white grapevines present are Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay to obtain Terre di Franciacorta Bianco (White) d.o.c. wine whereas for the red grapevines present there is Barbera, Cabernet, Nebbiolo and Merlot to obtain Terre di Franciacorta Rosso (Red) d.o.c. wine. From the distillation of the peels from the Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay grapes we get Grappa di Franciacorta, a distillate which has won several national prizes under anonymous tasting rules.
