Domaine Sainte Rose is an exceptional viticultural estate situated in the Languedoc region of southern France. The Domaine, which totals 55 hectares (135.3 acres), is owned by Charles and Ruth Simpson, a young British couple who left their respective international careers to pursue a mutual dream to establish a boutique vineyard and winery of their own. We at Domaine Sainte Rose have a very specific quality-orientated strategy. While we intend to continue the tradition of viticulture and wine production on the Domaine, our goal is to gradually introduce a more organic approach to viticulture and (starting with the 2002 vintage), to favour modern wine making techniques. This approach has been adopted in order to ensure the creation in limited quantities of authentic, affordable, hand-crafted, family-made wines of distinction.
