Verdoni Imports was founded in 1996, as the first wine company ever to specialize exclusively in value wines from family-owned wineries in Italy. Most importantly, Anthony Verdoni deals directly with grape growers and prominent enologists, contracting directly for the purchase of grapes and wine must to be used in Verdoni Imports’ proprietary wines.
Having opened of business in July 1996, Verdoni Imports obtained Importer and New Jersey Wine Distribution Licenses, shipping its first wine order in April 1997. In the summer of 2000, Mr. Verdoni started Agenzia Verdoni, which is dedicated to custom designing Italian wine portfolios for fine wine shops.
Both divisions have grown steadily and consistently.Verdoni wines are available in 18 states.
