F&V Trading Corporation was established in Miami, FL in 1985 as a liquor import and export company. Since then, it has become a leading "niche brand" broker with offices internationally throughout South America and Europe while still maintaining its original headquarters.

Currently, the emphasis is on developing proprietary brands in the "niche" category while continuing to meet the needs of importers and distributors worldwide with established brands. This shift has allowed us to focus on growing with our clients while ensuring quality products with a consistent, reliable supply and an above average profit margin. Too often, importers and distributors of niche products find themselves having success with a particular product only to find inconsistencies at a later time with the quality or the supply chain. Since niche products are unique and not easily replaceable, this creates frustration and ultimately leads to abandonment of the product altogether.

Therefore, F&V Trading is looking to grow its categories and brands slowly and steadily to position itself as the leading niche brand supplier worldwide by providing quality, reliability and excellent profit margins. We focus on our clients' success to ensure our own.

OUR PRODUCTS
Currently, we have 3 product categories in our own portfolio: Tequila, Aguardiente and Rum.

TEQUILA
Tequila is an alcoholic beverage manufactured in the arid highlands of Mexico. It is made by the fermentation and distillation of the Blue Agave plant. Its history spans over 400 years beginning with a drink called "pulque" enjoyed by the conquistadors. Since then, it has transformed itself into what we now know as Tequila. In recent years, this drink has taken on a more sophisticated following shedding its rough and unsophisticated image. It is now being judged on quality and taste by "tequila connoisseurs" with some bottles retailing well over $100. Furthermore, there are those that collect the bottles making this a well known and lucrative hobby.

. AGUARDIENTE Aguardiente is a drink distilled from sugar cane with anis flavoring that is very popular throughout the world, particularly South America. It’s origins can be traced back as far as the 1700’s. It is usually consumed alone as a liqueur, although it can also be used as a mixer. AGUARDIENTE PAISA Aguardiente Paisa is manufactured in Ecuador, close to the Colombian border, and has a very recognizable Colombian name. It is a high quality product that currently sells very well in Ecuador. Currently, the three top selling brands in the world are manufactured in Colombia. It has a very attractive label with a clear bottle and is positioned to do very well in a market that currently has no real frontrunner. In the United States alone, consumption of aguardiente has grown over 7-fold in the last 10 years and Aguardiente Paisa is the “crown jewel” of the company most responsible for this growth.

RUM
Rum is a product of the tropics which dates back to the 1600’s. At one time, it was used as currency. It is created from sugar, molasses, or other sugar-industry products. The manufacturers then add yeast, ferment it, and distill the results. When rum is first made, it is clear. Many manufacturers then age or color the rum, bringing it to a more dark or golden state. Most aging takes place in barrels that once held whiskey or bourbon. Rum can be aged for as much as 30 years or more.

RON NORTENO
Ron Norteno has three different varieties: white, dark and sugar free. All three are manufactured in Ecuador where they are the top selling brand. All three products are of high quality with elegant labels and a clear bottle. They are positioned to do well in an ultra competitive category.
