| As descendants of English botanist Thomas Waters, who planted the first grapevine cuttings in Western Australia in 1829, the Davies family have always been involved with agriculture but it was their passion for wine which led them to purchase the Estate located in the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia in 1999.
The name Windows Margaret River was derived from a popular surfing break “The Window” which is in close proximity to the property. The theme of the ocean, which has a major influence on the style of wine produced has been embraced and is reflected in the label chosen for the wines.
A family owned and operated boutique winery we believe that great wines begin in the vineyard and the wines produced allow the exquisite quality of the fruit to speak for itself.
