November 1995 on the province of Chizay, Beregova
region in the Zakarpatye area of Ukraine, our
company offers over thirty varieties of wine
under the trademark Chizay.

Rich in agricultural heritage
and recognized as the birthplace of Ukraine's
premium wine industry, Zakarpatye is home to
vineyards planted by its early settlers. For
over three thousand years, the slopes from this
side of the Carpathians decorate green terraces
of vineyards. With a maritime climate that produces
cool nights and warm days, the region is blessed
with exactly the right combination of soil,
sun, seasonal moisture, and geography for growing
grapes of exceptional quality.

A classical wine created with careful attention
and a respect for what its name embodies is
world renowned, and rightfully so. Chizay
Merlot gets its dense, dark rich red color
from the carefully selected grapes of the
Merlot variety grown in our own vineyards
in the Beregovo region.

Its name descends from the Macedonian grapes
"Kadarka" which in Russian is
translated as "The Wine of a Soldier".

as Bulgarian grapes such as Pamid, Dimyat,
Misket, Rikaty. This drink is perfect when

Isabella is a classical
quality red wine whose ties to the Beregovo
region date back centuries. Ages ago, on Zakarpatye
soil, grew vineyards filled with fantastic
grapes from which the beauty and depth of
Iseballa wine was created. Its glory and extravagance
became world-renowned and wine-makers in all
regions tried anxiously re-creating this magnificent
Zakarpatye prize but to no avail. This classical
beauty stands apart because it is made from
selected grapes grown in our own vineyards
in the Beregovo region. Our Isabella is filled
with a glorious fruity aroma accompanied by
bright tones of fresh wild strawberry moderated
by a sweet and juicy balanced taste.

Pink Wine
Chizay Rose is a classic
summer wine made from selected grapes grown
in our own vineyards in the Zakarpatye region.
The gentle enriching pink color and the crystal
shine of the wine is a result of the special
processing of the red variety using the technology
for processing white varieties. That is why
the final product yields the fruity character
of white wine and the density of a red wine.
Harmonious and fresh in taste, the original
method of mixing red and white European grades
of grapes is just one of the many tactics
used to give this wine its appeal.

Natural
Dry White Wine
Light, beautiful and
cheerful, Sauvignon is an elite high-quality
wine popular all over the world. In fact,
French wine-makers use it to produce some
of their best champagne.
Elegant and distinctly fresh, the wine is
a perfect appetizer. To feel its charm, it
is necessary to drink at 10-12° C , not
a degree more, not a degree less! The overcooled
drink looses in its taste, and overheated
loses in its aroma.

White Wine
The sweetness and delicacy
of "Tamyanka" have made it a constant
hit on the dessert table. The wine possesses
a straw color, refined aroma with a pleasant
shade of honey, acacia and a soft balanced
taste with almond shades. "Tamyanka"
is made from white Muscat grapes and a concentrate
of grape juice.

Sweet
White Wine
This charming sweet wine
is fully correspondent to its name. Its golden
color makes it seem as if the glass is filled
with rays of the sun. Prepared from the finest
homegrown "Rkatseteli" grapes as
well as other white European sorts, hand picked
after a late ripening term, provides this
glowing beauty with its strongly marked eastern
aroma of honey and raisin. The elegance of
this wine is enjoyed best when combined with
sweets, fruit salads, ice cream and baked
goods.
