Starting with 3 hectares of vineyards, CVGSO has grown to become the
biggest winemaking company in the Grand South-West

...Now in the Top 20 French wineries!

In just over 10 years, La Compagnie des Vins du Grand Sud-Ouest managed to impose itself as a leader in the wine market.

CVGSO makes a turnover of 33 million Euros and now produces over 24 million bottles annually, mainly for the French market.

After this commercial success in certainly one of the hardest markets in the world, CVGSO is now looking to expand its distribution around the world for the following products (Croix du Mayne, Candastre, Marguerite and Haut Perthus), all rated in the Wine Spectator.

With an impressive number of AOC appellations such as
Bergerac, Cahors, Gaillac, Madiran, Côtes de Duras or Côtes du Tarn
to name just a few - not to mention the Vin de Pays Comté Tolosan
with unmatched quality/price ratio - the possibilities are abundant and
the future inviting for those who are passionate and avid to face challenges. Varietals includes: Vin de Pays, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah and Chardonnay. Also produces Vin de Table.

It was back in 1990 that Francois Pélissié first decided to create CVGSO, in order to make a living out of winemaking and develop his activities beyond the ownership of a few hectares of vineyard that he inherited at Anglars Juillac, near Cahors.
It is here that the Pélissié family cultivated the art of winemaking since the 16th century that now produces the Cahors Croix du Mayne; Francois Pélissié understood that the wine market was rapidly changing and that the less known, but promising appellations would make it possible for him to exercise his talent.
CVGSO is currently seeking distributors worldwide.
