Our Company International Distillers Limited is one of the leading spirits/liquor manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka.Our journey commenced in 1980 when Gilbeys of London decided to establish its operations in Sri Lanka as Gilbeys Lanka Limited. Subsequently, the company was renamed ID Lanka Limited in 2004 after its controlling interest was acquired by East India Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. In January 2014, as part of a rebranding initiative and to better reflect our company's product offerings, the company was renamed International Distillers Limited (IDL) to what it's known today.We are proud to state that IDL is the only hard liquor beverage manufacturer in Sri Lanka with a triple ISO certification for quality management, food safety management and environmental management systems certified by SGS.
