Kavaklıdere Winery, Turkey's first and oldest private sector wine producer, was established in Ankara in 1929 by Cenap And, has been carrying on wine production in Ankara-Akyurt Plant since 1987 and Nevşehir-Kapadokya Plant since 2003. The storage capacity has increased to 17,5 million liters by 2004 and Kavaklıdere is proud to have a product range consisting of 32 different kinds of wines including grape juices.
The winery exports %20 of its total production to the EU, Japan and United States where it has distributors. Through the principle of producing Anatolian Wine from Anatolian Grapes Kavaklıdere Winery has taken it upon itself to promote indigenous noble and new grape varieties suitable for wine production, and has won more than 350 medals in domestic and international competitions in 75 years.
